Blind Spot Monitoring Safety Feature: What Colfax, CA, Drivers Need to Know
As you shop for a new Chevy vehicle to drive all over Roseville, you might notice how many models have a safety feature called Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert. Here is what drivers from Folsom need to know about this safety feature
What is Lane Change Alert with Blind Zone Alert?
Lane Change Alert with Blind Zone Alert uses radar sensors that are hidden in the rear corners of the vehicle. As you drive around Rocklin, the sensors can detect other moving vehicles that are behind your side mirror in a lane next to yours. Together, Lane Change Alert and Blind Zone Alert can prevent collisions with vehicles you might not be able to see on your own.
How Lane Change Alert with Blind Zone Alert Works
When you start your Chevy vehicle in Auburn, you will see both sideview mirror alerts turn on, letting you know the system is working. When you begin driving, the system will show an alert when it detects a vehicle in your blind spot or a vehicle approaching your blind spot. If activate the turn signal in the direction of the vehicle, the system will flash to provide an extra warning not to change lanes at that moment. You can turn Lane Change Alert by using the infotainment screen and accessing the Vehicle Personalization menu.
